Hi, I’m Garrett Kincaid.
On May 25, 2022, I graduated from college with a degree in quantitative finance. A week later, I landed in Reykjavik to start a 3-month backpacking in Iceland. There, I connected with Nature and myself.
That adventure affirmed how I already saw life: Every moment bursts with beauty and opportunity.
Now, I’m just trying to not forget that. I returned from Iceland to start my career — not as a banker, trader, or consultant but as a writer.
When I write, I remember. I write so that I don’t lose sight of what matters. I write to explore my inner world and connect with others — to connect with you. So, thank you for being here.

The following ideas are central to my personal philosophy and motivate much of my writing.Our greatest inhibitions are self-delusion and -distraction. The antidote is introspection.Nothing is certain.
